Busy week is BUSY!
Jan. 7th, 2011 01:47 pmI went skating again Wed. night. Not my best night balance wise, but I had fun (& I made progress on things like t-stops & backwards skating).
Yesterday morning I found out why it wasn't my best night balance wise... I forgot to take ALL my pills. Including my Cymbalta, and I know that affects my balance when I forget it.
Last night my ASL class started up again. The teacher is actually making it a silent class this term! Which is a very good thing because we need that practice/experience in a very bad way.
Today at lunch I FINALLY found the perfect thing to go skating in: Skorts meant for tennis/golf! :) They allow wonderful freedom of movement, they don't get in the way of knee pads, and they don't show every lump & bump the way leggings or spandex shorts do. :D I found three decent pairs at Dick's Sporting goods. Two of them were from the clearance racks, so I only paid $45 for the three of them.
Bonus: they're all decent enough that I can wear them casually around town in the summer and not be embarassed. :)
