How cute was it to hear him talk about how it wanted to kick & scream and tell the record company to put his album out now?
It sure erases any doubt in my mind (not that there was much there to begin with) about who it is that's behind the delay in his album release.

Now, I'm just wondering how long we'll have to wait before we get a single. Between JC's interview last week, and the little post by his Mom a few days after that, and all the other news bits & rumors that've been flying around... I really think we're looking at a January 2004 album release date, with a single a couple months before that. So, a single in mid-October, maybe? That'd still be about 2 and a half months until January, though. Yikes.
I hope we don't have to wait all the way until November for a single. JC's mom seemed to think exciting things would start happening between now and late October. I hope she's right!
(If I was at home right now, I'd go listen to JC's Vegas radio interview & his album clips and put them all on repeat. But, I'm at work, so I'll just have to pretend).
My other new favorite thing about this upgraded version of Semagic? It hides my username when I start the program to log on. So if someone else at the office is at my computer and gets nosy & starts the Semagic client, they won't be able to see what my LJ username is. More privacy is always a good thing.
