rosebeeI was in a bit of a :| :( funk the last couple days.
Happily last night I *finally* got a really good night's sleep, the first i've had since the time change on Saturday night.
And there's a beautiful sunrise this morning.
PLUS it's a holiday for me, so I don't have to go to work today! Instead after MrB is done with his 1 morning class we're going up to Portland so I can talk to an expert audiologist about getting hearing aids to help me with my Auditory Processing Disorder.
Yesterday was an intersting afternoon at work. A deaf woman came in, and I was able to understand her and help her out! It was a great feeling! I didn't understand 100% of what she was signing (she was visibly upset and signing a bit sloppy, plus there were some signs I just plain didn't know), but I understood enough to know what was going on and what she wanted. :D
I'm a little nervous and a lot excited & hopeful about the hearing aids. I think they're going to be a great help, and I'm really looking forward to it.
