My moth-munched wool coat has been replaced!

$180 London Fog raincoat, purchased on sale for $90. :D Black, full length, button-on hood, single-breasted, zip-out liner... it will be perfect! I can go for walks this fall/winter at lunchtime and not get my pants wet when it's raining! :D

I also got a great black & white tweedish looking jacket (4 or 5 button I think, it's super-cute), and the PERFECT little black dress! :D

The dress was originally $90, on sale for $33... but it was another 30% off, so I only had to pay $25!! :D The jacket was also on sale, so I'm VERY pleased with myself. :)

Plus I went and got a manicure! It was a pretty wonderful Saturday!

ooh, go you! i remember having a london fog in the 80s and adoring it :) :) i remember it had a red plaid lining.

It does have a plaid lining, there's red, but mostly beige. :)

It goes all the way down to my ankles! I can go for walks at lunchtime and not get my pants wet! I'm VERY excited!

I do need to take it to a tailor and have the sleeves shortened. If I'm not wearing heels, the hem is almost too long, so I might have the tailor take it up an inch or two.

yes, taking up the hem just enough that it won't be too long in flats sounds like a good idea, especially since it will already be getting tailored anyway.
