The sun was out, and it was an absolutely beautiful drive through the forests to Portland to a little mini-gathering at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
milo6456s house. And I can't leave out her big screen tv & theater set-up. ;) That was half the fun. There was Atlantis (quite possibly the best group appearance &/or performance ever!), Rock in Rio (which I had never seen before), Wayne Brady (Joey & Justin!) & RENT!!
hammerhead22 was there too, I'd never met either one of them before, they were both so nice, and it was just a wonderful day.
There are some times when you have so much going on, that even when you stay around home, or go out and stick around town, that you can't really relax & get away from it all (because it's right there, reminding you of all that you should be doing). Sometimes you just have to really get away in order to truly relax & have some fun.
Today was one of those days. And it was one I needed desperately!
And now, I think I'll go pop in more footage while I try & get various things ready for work tomorrow (like a lunch and other important stuff).
