I've got the Blackberry Cobbler/Crumble in the oven for 10am brunch & present exchange at my folks house. It should be ready in time - it has a little over an hour and a half to cook, but technically only needs an hour. It'll probably take the entire hour & a half!
MrB wrote me a wonderfully sweet Christmas card. :)
My brother got into town Wednesday night, and MrB & I went over to my folks house briefly yesterday evening to visit. I was unfortunately able to confirm that my brother is being just as much of an asshole as he usually is when he's sans girlfriend. He has one right now, but they're not so close yet that they go to holidays together.
We have two dinner invitations tonight. I sort of want to spend most of it with my family, but when my brother is being such a PITA I'm thinking MrB & I might end up ditching my family earlier in the evening than planned so we can go have dinner with MrB's brother & SIL.
I'm right now really wishing I'd managed to learn the oven needed cleaning *before* sticking the cobbler in there to bake. :/
