Where does the weekend go?
Dec. 13th, 2009 07:17 amThe ice storm was interesting Friday evening. I've got a great boss who encouraged us all to go home at 3pm so we could avoid the majority of the bad weather.
Yesterday MrB & I went to the local Holiday Market, and bought a couple things. We still don't know what to get MrB's SIL... though it helps that when we called MrB's Bro, he said he also didn't know what to get his wife so he couldn't be of much help to us! It makes me feel a bit better that even he doesn't know what to get her!
Later today I have my ASL Practice, and then I need to mail the packages for my half-sister & her family. They're the only packages I have that need to be mailed, so it'll be good to get that done with.
My Dad has the H1N1 flu. I'm still able to go over and visit as I've been vaccinated, but MrB is not allowed to go over and visit for a week. But if by later this afteroon my mom still hasn't figured out how to send MrB's gift list back to me (with the things she & grandma bought removed) I get to go over to my folks house (h1n1 & all) and help her. MrB's mother really wants his gift list!
MrB & I bought ourselves a PS3 for Christmas! :D And my half-sister send me a $30 GameStop gift card... I'm looking forward to going out in a couple weeks (after Christmas) and buying a good rpg. I asked for a lot of games for Christmas this year, and I'm don't remember everything I asked for, so I'll have to wait and see what Santa brings me :)
And now, either Sims3 or the last little bit of Zelda is calling my name. :) I'm very close to beating Zelda, and I know myself and thus know that I need to completely finish Zelda before Christmas & new games come along.

Date: 2009-12-13 08:55 pm (UTC)Turns out I didn't do any gaming - I instead made progress (a tiny amount, but still progress) on a knit dress! Maybe next time I get the urge to do something sewing-related I'll start on making the adjustments to the pattern. And the time I'll cut it out, and the time after that is when the actual sewing would take place.
