Overall, it was a good weekend!
Oct. 12th, 2009 07:07 amI got *all* my laundry done! I feel so proud! :)
I also got lots of relaxing in by playing Zelda & Sims 3. YAY!
ASL practice was good, though it was a harder one for me as I don't know as much as most of the other people there.
I bought new shoes!! My physical therapist said I needed to as one reason my knees were hurting was because my previous pair of brown flats were too floppy and didn't give my foot enough support. So the Clarks Unstructured (unstructured, indeed!) will be donated, and instead I went out and bought a nice pair of brown keen's- This Calistoga model in brown.
What I *really* wanted were these Kumf's:
The darker x-shaped bits are elastic! They were really comfy, and my orthotics fit... but the shoe store only had it in wide width, and so my heel kept slipping out of the shoe! But they were a gorgeous dark chocolate brown suede and were very nice and dressy... and I WANTS them!!
I also bought a very nice pair of dark wash trouser jeans from Talbot's. I used a coupon, so the originally $70 (or maybe $80, I forget) jeans I came home with for only $32!! :D The little tag says they're "flared" but looking at them, I think they're just nice & straight & wide.
And now, it's time for me to go hit the shower. I didn't get anything accomplished on either of my two sewing projects, but I did get everything else done that I wanted to.
It was a good weekend. Maybe that'll be a good sign that my Monday will be decent! I can hope!
