Saturday night 8/8: Decided to skip trazodone (a good thing to do every now and then, give the body a break)... so I knew I wasn't going to get the best sleep. It was ok, but not great & not really restful.
Sun night 8/9: Don't remember what it was, but something woke me up a couple times this night. Not the best night's sleep. Oh! I remember... I stayed up late to watch ABDC, so didn't get to sleep until 11pm... and since I have to get up at 6am, that's only 7 hours, and that's just not quite enough for me.
Mon night 8/10: Again didn't get to sleep until close to 11pm.
Tues. night 8/11: YAY! Finally got a really good night's sleep, and woke rested. :D Wednesday was a really good day!
Wed. night 8/12: Got to bed mostly on-time, but got woken up at 3:30, 4, and 4:30am because MrB decided to get up before dawn to go pick blackberries. We now have 11 gallon bags in the freezer filled with berries (mostly blackberries, but a few blueberries). That doesn't include the berries that are in the blender in the fridge waiting to be made into jam... and it doesn't include the berries in the containers in the fridge that haven't made it to the freezer yet.
Last night.. Thu. 8/13: We have hard-wired smoke alarms in our apartment... they also have 9v battery backup. And the damn smoke alarms will *beep* every few minutes if the battery is low. The smoke alarm in the bedroom did this ALL.DAMN.NIGHT!!! :( It's been along time since I've had a that bad of a night's sleep. At 3:30am I just couldn't stand it anymore (sleeping on my side with pillow on top of my head *and* earplugs in wasn't enough to keep me asleep, just enough to help me get to sleep). I grabbed a chair, figured out how to untwist the smoke alarm from the ceiling, disconnected the hard-wired power plug & took the damn battery out! Then it still beeped a very tiny little bit so I hid it under a pillow.
One reason I not very happy about this is that I texted MrB while he was out berry picking yesterday about the beeping smoke alarm that needed a new battery. I had expected that this would prod him to pick up a spare battery on his way home, so that we'd be able to fix this. Such was not the case. So I left him a great big note on our white board. If he doesn't have time to go get a battery today I WILL get one on my way home tonight. I am NOT having another night like I had last night.
Plus tomorrow morning I'm going up to PDX to visit my friend H to watch 2 movies featuring NKOTB-members. :)
Joey McIntyre in "Tony n Tina's Wedding - The Movie" (this came out about a year or so ago) and Donnie Wahlberg an indie-movie from 2001 called "Diamond Men".
I'm looking forward to it, but in order to do a weekend of socializing I NEED a good night's sleep. I wished I'd gotten several nights in a row of good sleep.
