Ugh. Monday again.

rosebeeI should've gone to bed earlier last night. 7 hours of sleep works for some people, but I am NOT one of them.
I watched the 2 part NBC Special "Inside the Obama White House" last night - it was interesting. I also caught up and watched the other shows I'd DVR'd over the past week... I've been busy playing my new Sims game in the evenings after work and haven't gotten a whole lot of tv-watching time in.
My sewing class on Saturday morning was good - I finally got the fabric & lining cut out for my halter-top dress. MrB is going to visit is friends in Boise this weekend (he's leaving Friday, and coming back Monday), so perhaps I'll drag out my sewing table and just leave it set up while he's gone. I'm really anxious to get the dress done, it feels like I've been thinking/working on it forever already!
Once that dress is done, I've promsied MrB that I'll make some balloon shades for one of the living room windows. I've got the Home Dec fabric (more of the exact same fabric I made the bedroom balloon shades out of), the blackout lining, the roman shade tape, screw eyes, wall hook, and let's see.... I still need the 1x2 board, the 1"x1" L-brackets, and I forgot to pick up the drapery cording so I need to go buy a bunch of that, too.
My revised 'dress' orthotics arrived back at my podiatrists office on Friday. Sadly there must've been some communication mishap, as the revised 'dress' orthotics look *exactly* like my athletic shoe orthotics (they even say "walker" on them rather than "dress class" like my original pair of dres shoe orthotics. I have an appointment with the podiatrist tomorrow morning to figure out what happened. The receptionist/assistant was a little confused/unsure about the situation - I'm not I know exactly what happened, someone somewhere filled out the order form wrong or the lab read it wrong, and the wrong kind of orthotic got made!
I suppose I should go shower. I wish I was more awake! Mondays are definitely NOT my favorite day of the week!
