The rumors were true!

NKOTB is doing a 4-day, 3-night cruise. IF MrB & I were both working full-time, there's a *slight* chance I'd consider going on this. But very slight. I'm more concerned about what's going to happen on a relatively small confined space like a cruise ship when you have the 5 guys (their families?), rabid fans (who've paid LARGE amounts of money to be there, and will have an enormous sense of entitlement... 5*VIP a hundred times over), plus alcohol. I don't think it's a recipe for a pretty picture.

Plus the prices, OMG! HUGE! And they don't include airfare to Florida, and (unlike most regular cruises) don't include port taxes or such.

I'm still eagerly awaiting the announcement of summer concert dates. I really like the idea of amphitheater venues, and hope they do one close enough to where I live that I can attend. :)

In much much less fun & sparkly news, I'm still sick, and still trying to cough up large portions of my lungs on a regular basis. I did make it to work yesterday though, so that was good. There's only so many days of staying home sick I can take before I get bored & stir-crazy. Mainly because I'm never feeling well enough to do anything. I have a skirt I'd love to finish, but I need to be awake and coherent to pay attention to the detailed process without ruining it.

But I have MLK day off, so I might try to finish the skirt then. Assuming I'm feeling better and this damn cough is gone!

It's a little too much for me too!

I saw a posting on the boards at the ning community that someone had called ILAA (the folks that did the 4* & 5* tickets to the fall tour), and ILAA told the person that yes, they were working with NKOTB this spring/summer, but they didn't have any dates yet. :D
