Today's my last day of work before the wedding. I'm only working half the day, but it's the half in the middle as I have a Dr appointment this morning (to hopefully help me find a way to get a good night's sleep on the honeymoon even with the snoring & being light sleeper).

Then this afternoon I have a final progress exam with my eye dr to see how well (or not) the vision therapy I've been doing since February has worked (that I've worked my ass off with the exceedingly difficult homework assignments, and paid nearly 3 thousand dollars for the privilege of). There are some good outcomes that I'm noticing. But one of the focusing test they did at the very beginning and then again at the final visit... I did worse on at the end!! The therapist said it was because I had such trouble getting the eye teaming thing down and she couldn't start on the focusing until I got the eye teaming down.
I'm also noticing some effects in my day-to-day life and not just on that one particular test they had me do. When I first look at text or something it seems to waver as if my eyes can't quite focus it.
I do not want to have to pay more money and spend more time on this damn vision therapy stuff... but I also want my eyes to work right. I'm hopeful that the brief wavering as my eyes attempt to focus will go away as time goes by and my eyes re-stabilize, but I don't know.
It's frustrating, and I can't quite decide if I want to spend the money & time to continue. What I really want was for the therapy I just paid thousands for was to have done everything it was supposed to.
Sigh. I'll bring my concerns to the eye Dr this afternoon and see what she says. If she says this is something I can work on at home or something that will get better with time, or something to just monitor... then I'll be happy. I'll be much LESS happy if she recommends I continue vision therapy (of course the vision therapy is something only her office provides, and they're really the only place in the area that does so as they're the local experts).

And I have a wedding in only 3 days!! I've got a long list of errands and things to do on my days off tomorrow and Friday to get ready for the wedding, but also for our 2 week honeymoon.

I'm getting excited, but also a lot nervous!

Squee!

I'm sure it will be absolutely lovely! Don't get too nervous or you won't be able to enjoy it!

Squeeee! I'm sure that as I get more of these last minute details and errands taken care of that the nervousness will decrease.
