I installed a game (Civilization IV - I wanted something else other than Morrowind, an RPG, and Sims2 to play). It installed just fine, but I'd double-click on the desktop icon and I'd get an hourglass for a second, maybe two, and then nothing would happen. It took many hours and much frustration to figure out that this was the cause. I've rebooted my machine more in the last 36 hours than I have in the last month! Eventually it was figured out that the case was from HTB disabling SafeDisk (he doesn't like it, so he disabled it on my computer at some point in time - this is the brand new computer I got in January).

Work related frustration - one of my coworkers several months ago said he had a certain manual. Then a few weeks ago he said wanted me to order him one. I reminded him that he told him he had it and that unless its grown legs he should still have it. [evidently he thought it would be easier to have me order him a new one instead of taking the time to go look for the one he lost]. He responded and said he'd keep looking. I heard back from him today, he said he found the missing book... on his bookshelf. You'd think that with a certain level of education, working in a very professional-level job for any number of years, that they'd be able to figure out that the first place to look for a missing book is *the bookshelf*.
