I do not like Mondays.
I really, really do not like Monday mornings. And this morning even more so - it's so irritating to be awake for 3 hours and still not feel like my brain's even come close to 'waking up'. It's like it's the middle of winter or something (with my whole SAD thing), but instead we're less than a week away from the longest day of the year. I don't get it. Of course, it could have something to do with the fact that I didn't get enough sleep last night, or the night before last.
::sigh::
At least I should be getting my DVD copy of Justin's UK concert today (or maybe tomorrow, but probably today).
And those lucky, lucky people that get to see Justin at the HOB tonight... there should be some wonderful squeee-age & reviews for me to read tomorrow. Things like this would almost, almost, make it worth it to live in a big city like LA. Almost, but not quite. I really don't like big cities. Even Portland would probably be too big for me to live in comfortably.
If the winds of life blew me in such a direction where I ended up living in Portland, I'd probably handle it ok. My mom says I'm one of those people that just 'blooms where ever I'm planted'. But, I like my nice little small town. Granted, the economy downright sucks, and by association my job doesn't pay very well. But, it's made up for in so many other ways.
