rosebeeNow I just wish it wasn't raining.
So evidently there was a bit of a miscommunication between me & my mom. I'm still not exactly sure what she said or did, but I think she figured out she did something wrong because when we met for lunch almost the first thing out of her mouth was how she'd thought of a way to fix the situation with my brother. She's going to email/call him and strongly encourage him that if he can only make it down once this summer that he come down in mid-August for the reception and skip the ceremony.
Now I only hope that's how it works out. HTB & I are still working on figuring out how this whole thing made us feel, and how to word an email to my mom laying it all out.
HTB's work is accepting employee's personal electronic-type stuff to be recycled free-of-charge as part of Earth Day. :) We have an old computer, monitor, inkjet printer, cell phone, several internal computer guts to be recycled. I want to yank the large hard drive from the old computer before we give it away though. The large one has all my stuff on it, the small one just had the OS on it.
Also happening today is a trip to a local camera shop so HTB & I can each buy a small table-top tripod, and a gray card. We're both enjoying our Digital Photography class... I had no idea that photography was all about math! Last weekend I bought Photoshop Elements, and this weekend I need to install it and index all my pictures with the Photoshop Album feature that comes with the program.
