I *love* it when it snows!!! I happens so rarely here, that it's extra special when it does happen. About once a year (but not every year) we get now that sticks on the valley floor.

It's so cool to wake up and see everything covered by a blanket of white!

I'm in a slightly warmer area of town (by a lake/pond), and we had about an inch (maybe a little bit more) stick over here. The higher elevations and some of the more outlying areas has LOT more snow.

This is when I wish I was a kid, because pretty much ALL the school districts in the area have just closed for the day.

But I still have to go to work. :(

At least I have a Subaru and I don't have to worry about whether my car will physically be able to make it there. Though they've got all the major roads & the freeways & highways plowed & sanded, so just getting out of my apartment complex's parking lot will be the most interesting part of my commute this morning!

Snow!!! What fun!!! :D

Just after I replied it started snowing!!! :D

And it's still snowing! (of course, I'm at work and don't have a window in my office so I only see it when I go down the hallway & see the snow through other people's office windows).

But it's so pretty when everything's all white & the snow's falling!!
