rosebeeA good weekend was had. It wasn't a hubby-to-be weekend, but it wasn't too bad. Took my mom to our favorite nursery, and got her a couple of nice plants for mother's day. Then I helped her & dad get the vegetable bed ready. Unloading compost from the back of a pickup bed is hard (normally dad does it), but my mom & I managed to get it done. I can't wait for the tomatoes to get planted & start growing! There're these little orange cherry tomatoes and they are SOOOO good!
I wish I had the funds to go to CFTC. Knowing me, by the time I have both the time and the money to go they'll be so old that they don't have them any more. ;) I'll just have to console myself with all the fabulous stories & pictures I know you're all going to bring back.
It was SO hard to get up this morning. Mondays are like that.
Saw a bum on one of the corners on my way to work. Had a sign that said "will take verbal abuse for pocket change". I haven't seen that one before. I've seen the ones where they say why lie, I want booze/cigarettes and other such signs.
I have another powerpoint class this afternoon - I get to learn how to import excel & word stuff into slides. I better schedule out some time to play around with the program or by the time I'm actually going to need this information I'm not going to remember a single bit of it.
I wish it'd stop raining. I want to use the rest of my lunch hour to go for walk.
