May. 22nd, 2005 07:04 pmI got my little bike computer working again! It turned out that I'd taken the battery out (god knows when) to keep it from corroding everything.
But, I got a new battery for it, and it's as good as new. Now I'll be able to know how fast I'm going, how far I've gone (trip & total), my maximum & average speeds, and how many minutes/hours I've been traveling. :) It's a pretty purple thing with nice big easy to use buttons, and I'm glad I have it working again. I've had it for almost the entire 15 years I've had my old Huffy bike. I'm attached to it. I have every intention of transferring it to my new bike when I get it in a couple of months.
My mom & I are going to go for another bike ride (which this time I'll be able to know exactly how far we ride) on Thursday evening while my dad's at his karate class (he teaches a local parks & rec class).
Time for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition! I *love* that show!!
