So far, I have sent out a total of 3 resumes/applications. All of these have been online or via email, and I sent them out on Saturday.
I've been working on more (I've done one - but haven't mailed it off yet), and I've got another almost done. That other one was what I was going to do today.
About half an hour ago, the phone rang. It was one of the companies I sent my resume off to on Saturday. They want me to come in for an interview. Today!! I get to go interview directly with the controller of the company at 2 o'clock this afternoon!!!! :D
So now I get to decide what suit I have fits me the best and makes me feel the most confident, brush up on the questions I want to ask of them, and get myself ready to answer some of their questions.
Since I had no friggin clue that this would happen so damn quickly, I haven't even printed out additional copies of my resume yet. So I definitely get to go do that before I take off for the interview. This particular company is located in a town that's about 40 miles up the road from where I live, and I've never been there before so I better leave WAY early.
I also need to go research up on the company first. Not to mention the details of this particular job (I can't exactly remember what it was that I applied for, only that it seemed like something I'd be able to do).

Date: 2004-12-14 05:52 pm (UTC)The interview went REALLY well!!
I'll know a week from today or tomorrow if they want me back for a 2nd interview. I was the 2nd person they've interviewed for this position, and they said they planned on interviewing one, maybe two, more. So, I have a pretty decent chance, I think! :D
