A wonderful weekend was had. :D Saw a couple of nice bed & breakfasts, one of which would be just perfect for our itty-bitty little wedding ceremony. Hopefully we can just rent the lawn for a few hours, and not have to pay for renting the b & b for the entire night. Though I hope they can guarantee us privacy in the back yard for the ceremony and taking pictures & everything. I'm afraid to call up & find out how much money they want.

Finally watched The Notebook. REALLY good movie!! Every now and then I got a bit distracted when a picture of Baby!Justin & Baby!Ryan hamming it up on MMC popped into my head. I shook it away and refocused on the movie, though. It was a GOOD movie. It did leave me with a bit of an urge to watch some old footage. I've been meaning ot work out too, so maybe I'll do both.

I had NO clue that this movie was um... a *bit* of a tearjerker. My wonderful amazing fiancee-to-be started sniffling, then I started sniffling, then he was wiping his eyes on my shirt, and I had tears streaming down my face. It was SUCH a good movie, though! But the extremely high kleenex-rating took me by surprise. I'm kind of glad I rented this one rather than going to watch it in the theaters. I always feel less self-conscious about crying at a movie that I'm watching at home than when I'm watching it in a theater with a bunch of other people.
If you haven't seen this movie yet, you need to grab your sweetie (or your best friend) and go rent this movie. Now. Right now. Stop reading this and go get it.

Yay for finding some good possibilities!

I've read the book, and my grandmother had alzheimers. It was pretty hard to read.

Wow, I bet it was hard to read. It was a *very* sad movie for me, and I don't even know anybody who had/has alzheimers. I don't know if I could do what the leading man did. Stay by my spouse who doesn't know me, and frequently fears me, just for a few fleeting moments of lucidity. That'd be a really hard decisio to make. Though I suppose for them, with the love they had, it was all worth it to him.
