rosebeeStill getting used to the exceedingly strange feeling of having a ring on my finger all the time. I've worn rings before, only occasionally (like once or twice a year occasionally, when the mood struck me), but never for more than a few hours at a time. But this one's gonna be on my finger 24/7 for the rest of my life. It's kinda weird. Very, very cool, and something I actually never thought would happen, but still a strange feeling. I'm almost to the point where it's not 'OMG, what *is* that weird feeling'. It's still strange, and odd, but not as much as at first.
D/l'd 2 or 3 different new BSB songs this morning from various lovely, wonderful, and amazing people (I can't remember who you are, my memory's notsogood. Haven't listened to them yet. I think I'm going to make it my reward if I get all my ironing done.
Kind of a slow day at the office. Compared to my previous job however, almost every day's a slow day. There's occasional busier days, but for the most part this is the most low-stress job I've ever had. I really, really like it. I've really been wondering exactly what it was that my predecessor did all damn day. I've heard stories of how she'd barricate herself in her office at the beginning every quarter to get certain reports out, dump her entire normal day-to-day workload on someone else, and just barely get the reports done by the time the month was over. I got all the reports done in two weeks, and managed to do all my normal day-to-day stuff as well (though there was some stuff I just let sit for those two weeks).
I keep meaning to babble & share about all the cool plants & things I have on my apartment's balcony. The hubby-to-be (who shall hereinafter be referred to as HTB) is just as dangerous as I am when we go to the garden store/nursery. We're going to be *really* dangerous when we have our own house & dirt to play in. I accidentally bought one plant and didn't figure out until I got it home and planted in a hanging basket that it grows to 3 feet tall, and 6(!) feet wide! Um. Oops? The tag at the nursery only said the 3 feet tall bit. Another book I found at a local bookstore on my lunch break said it only gets 2 feet wide & 2.5 feet tall. I guess I'll just have to wait & see.
