I almost forgot to mention this (for my own memory/record if nothing else).

Turns out Joey is *not* in love with Lance. He doesn't even like him enough to count as a friend!
Joey is madly in love with Kelly (who's madly in love with Joey).

Lance is starting to fall in love with Chris! (Lance has a little pink heart underneath his picture of Chris).

Chris likes Lance, but only as a friend (albiet, a very good friend).

Howie hates Chris (but not bunches, just a little), while Nick likes Chris (just a little right now).
On a related note, I had to evict Howie & Nick from their house (since that had been a house I downloaded, and it had this odd & annoying quirk of not being able to call people on the phone nor receive visitors, not to mention no mailbox). So, I'm going to have to work on building them a new house (which I started working on this morning before leaving for work - and promptly made myself 30 minutes late due to the addictive nature that is Sims, though I worked extra earlier this week, so I'm ok).

I have NO idea what to do with these boys. They're making it so complicated for me. If Lance wasn't falling in love with Chris, then I'd have Chris hook up with Nick, and I'd try and get Howie to hook up with Lance, and they could all live happily ever after. (& Chris & Lance could move out of their respective houses and give the couples with children more room).

Seems like a good idea to have Chris and Lance fall in love - but wouldn't they just move into one of the houses they're already in?

Exactly! And that's why I'm debating about what I should do. One more grown-up in the JC/Justin/Chris/Scott/Randall household would be a little much. Their house is not one I want to expand much more. Though, I could expand it some. It'd be cool to have (almost) everyone in the same house! A little expansion, a little rearranging... it could work!

I think I can quite easily expand the Joey/Kelly/Lance/kid-Brian house.

Oy! It sounds crowded no matter what you choose to do! I always find that my biggest problem with big households is controlling mainly the adults. Getting them to cook for each other, get entertainment, keep up their hygene, etc. The kids usually entertain themselves. One thing I've learned though, is that you can never have to many bathrooms! And hacked tubs/showers that gives them energy is a pretty good thing too! :D

Well, in the first house, both Scott & Randall are kids. Scott is a *very* neat child, while Randall couldn't be more of a slob if he tried. Scott will willingly clean up all of the plates off of the table after everyone's eaten, where as Randall can't be bothered to walk 2 squares to throw away his snack wrapper in the trash compactor.

::perks head up::
Say what?!

Where would I go about getting one of those marvelous inventions?

But, yes. Two very large households. I think I'm going to see if I can get Nick to fall in love with Chris, I know he likes him fairly well already (though they're not friends yet).

Ooohhh! I know! I'll create a bachelor pad house for Jessie and Trace to live in! I'll get Jessie to fall in love with Lance, and then Lance can move out of the Joey/Kelly/kid-Brian house. :)

They hacked tubs/showers can be found at Sims Interior Designs (http://www.simsinteriordesigns.net/) at least. I think I might have found one or two somewhere else too, but I've downloaded stuff from so many places that I can't really remember anymore!

I don't know how you feel about downloads, but The Welldressed Sim (http://www.welldressedsim.com) is a really good place as well - lots of free stuff and skins along with the payable things.

And speaking of energy - at Around The Sims (http://www.aroundthesims.com/) you can dl mood boosters - they are quite expensive, but they can boost all your bars up to full level in a second!

Of course, this all depends on how much you want to cheat in your game - if you don't want to cheat this much, then the tubs/showers are really cool - and then you'll just be cheating a little bit. :D When I first discovered the mood boosters I used them all the time, but it got a little boring - no one ever had to eat, sleep, shower or anything, so now I primarily use them for dates and in a rough spot - like when there's an infant in the house!

Of course, I have no morals, so I cheat and give them loads of money too. *ahem*

The free money cheat is the only one I use at the moment. I have no shame in downloading things that will help me out, but I don't want to bore myself either.

like when there's an infant in the house!
Exactly! That would've been VERY nice!

Thanks for the wonderful links! I can't wait to get home and try them out!!

(and on a slightly-unrelated note, I've decided that 3 adults in a household is just about the most I want to have to deal with).

I have downloaded so much that I can hardly remember what was originally i the game. I've discovered I have a "fetish" for paintings, rugs, kitchens and bathrooms! I always make huge kitchens and bathrooms - maybe it's because my own is so tiny and I take out my frustrations over that to the Sims.

I have just one more link for you. I don't know about you but I'm always in search of cool men's clothes - most sites have more women's stuff - but there's one that's all men, and really great things too! Sims Connection UK (http://www.thescuk.com/index1.htm) I have a few more really good sites both for skins and furniture, just let me know if you want them.

Yeah, three adults is about the limit. I have this one house - huge! - with currently three adults and I was planning on getting a forth one to marry into it, but I just know that once I have four adults I'll start to lose interest in it...
