Jun. 28th, 2004 09:05 amYAY!!
Looks like some file or another that comes with the program The Sims got corrupted. I uninstalled the program then reinstalled it (after carefully copying the 'user data' folder to my desktop so I didn't lose any of my families, or houses, or anything).
I reinstalled the few items I had downloaded off the net, and when I was finally done with the reinstallation, everything was working wonderfully.
The program I found, SimMetamorphsizer (I'm not sure on spelling), is very cool. You can take a Sim that's already in use, change their head, gender, skin tone, first name, and etc. Then SimWardrobe lets you change their default clothing... like the default pj's! Since you can't take the kids downtown to buy pj's... and both the boys in the JC/Justin household are wearing the same pj's. When I get home from work tonight I'm going to run this program and change their pj's.
I want JC & Justin to adopt a baby girl. I'm seriously debating about how long I want to wait for them to receive a phone call before I start thinking about using this program to change the gender of Randall... It seems a bit wrong though...

Date: 2004-06-28 01:24 pm (UTC)And someone once told me, that the trick to getting those adoption phonecalls is lots and lots of hot kisses! I've tried it once - after about 10-15 kisses of different sorts the call really came. At least you can have fun while waiting!

Date: 2004-06-28 03:11 pm (UTC)I found the program here: http://www.fileplanet.com/section.aspx?s=91612
I believe the program is SimWardrobe.
You have to register at fileplanet.com to download stuff from them, but it's all free. Just be sure to make sure all the checkboxes are cleared so they won't send you any crap via snail/e-mail.I can't remember how big the file is... ::runs off to check real quick:: ::snorts:: it's a minimal 612KB. I should quite easily be able to email it to you when I get home from work tonight.
Do you want me to email you the other program, too? (the one that let's you change their face, skin color, gender, etc - it's about the same miniscule size).
What email address should I send it to?
