Sims update!

Since JC & Justin's family needed more friends in order for them to advance in their careers, I went around to all the other families in the neighborhood and went to work on creating some more children (so that JC & Justin's 2 children could make the friends the family needs). When I created Joey & Kelly's family, I created Briahna. Well, after Joey & Kelly kissed a few times then Kelly suggested they have a baby, which turned out to be a baby girl. After this baby girl grew up, I discovered that the computer used the same head for this new baby as I had used for Briahna. I haven't decided if I want to change it or not. Right now it looks like they're twins.

Chris & Lance Trickyfish (who don't get along with each other very well unless they're both in very good moods) have adopted a baby boy who they named Patrick.

The other families in the neighborhood now have children, too (the Valentino's now have 2 children, I'm working on getting the Snooty-Patooty's to have kids - neither of those 2 grown-ups have any nice factor so any children they have should get along quite marvelously with JC & Justin's daughter Laura (0 points in the nice column - but yet so far she's making friends easier than JC & Justin's son Scott who scores an 8 or a 9 in niceness).

JC's the farthest I've had any Sim go up the musician track. He's a Roadie, and he needs a few more body points before he can get the next promotion (according to what I've found on the web, that next promotion will be a Backup Musician earning $550/day). Justin's in the hacker career track, and he's currently an Internet Entrepreneur making $800/day. (he just got his promotion, I haven't had a chance to start spending the money yet). But in addition to some more body points, in order to advance in the musician career JC'll need to nearly double his family friends (they have 8, he'll need 15 to get to the top), and he'll have to max out his Charisma (which he doesn't like doing - he likes painting and playing chess).

I wanna go home and play. I don't especially want to be at work. Though work has air-conditioning. Air-conditioning is my friend! :)

everytime I saw "brihana", I keep thinking 'benihana'. (benihana is a japanese restaurant chain where they chop up the food adn cook it in front of you. and joey's daughter's name is spelled briahna ;) Not nitpicky, just sharing how weird my brain is. Thinking... why did she name their kid after a restaurant? and having to go, no, that's not it... ;)

whoops... I think I double-checked it in the game to get the right spelling right, but I can never remember how it's spelled without looking it up. :)

I've never been able to get my sims to have kids. Probably because I don't have the patience.

I found a yahoogroup that has a hacked object - it's an adoptable baby. You download the file, and then anytime you want kids (especially helpful with the non male-female couples) you go to your miscellaneous objects, select all, and place the crib whereever you like. It works quite well.
