rosebeeI've really enjoyed being away from the office the last week and a half. I haven't realized just how much until after I got back and I got some comments back from a project I did earlier. The person who reviewed my work came in to go over some of the things she found. While she was going over everything, one of the things she was careful to point out to me is that when I add up a 'tape' on the adding machine, and then scotch tape it down to my workpaper, I must be careful not to use too long a piece of scotch tape or she can't lift up the adding machine tape all the way to see what's on the paper underneath.

I am so damn tired of these nitpicky little comments I can hardly stand it. I'm pissed off by the whole thing. I can't quite tell if she's just really *that* picky, or if she thinks I purposefully do things like that to irritate her.
Yes, it's nice when the world cooperates with us and doesn't do those things that our little pet peeves, but for goodness sakes, she really needs to lighten up! I'd also personally love it if she'd learn to accept the concept that there may be other ways of doing things that are both different from how she likes to do them and not wrong.
