Oct. 4th, 2004 06:51 am--Watched (again) bits of The Surreal Life... I was looking for something to provide background noise while I did chores around the house and nothing else was on. I'm a big (former? current? always?) New Kids fan, and a Jordan fan as well, I suppose. I bought his solo album, and that 'Jordan presents the New Kids' album. But, not even I can watch that Surreal Life show. Yeah, it's nice to see Jordan and everything, but damn that show is painful!
--I did however, happily sit down to watch Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. And yes, I cried like a baby. I always seem to do that when I'm watching that particular show.
--I also taped and finally finished watching Kevin Hill. So far, I think I like that show. It doesn't hurt that the lead character is not-so-bad to look at. ;)
--I'm happy for JC & Eva. I've seen some absolutely adorable pictures that make me just want to melt. I'm even happier that JC's in the studio. As much as I want to hear his new stuff as soon as humanly possible, I'm going to say that I hope the... release of his music to the public (in whatever form) happens when and how he wants it to. I wonder what kind of stuff he'll be recording this time around? Hopefully he'll get a better reception with this one.
--So, Justin's gonna do another movie? If JC's just *now* starting to record another album. and Justin's going to do another movie that starts filming who-knows-when... that puts another *NSYNC album somewhere in the month of Never, in the year Not-Anytime-Soon. At least, unlike my other boyband (not BSB... NKOTB) the members of *NSYNC, while doing their own thing are all still very good friends who are perfectly willing/happy/eager to get back together for a group album.
--Has anyone heard BSB's new stuff? What does it sound like? Is it any good? I think I remember downloading and saving some mp3's that were floating around a while ago. I never got around to listening to them though.
Maybe I'll do that this morning while I'm chained to my desk & my lightbox for another 40 minutes.
I started with 15 minutes a day in late August/early September. I added 15 minutes a week so I'm now at an hour and a half. I'll work up to 2 hours a day in a couple weeks and stay there the rest of winter (assuming of course that once the depths of winter come I don't have an unexpected urge to curl up and sleep forever, at which point I'll have to do more than 2 hours a day). As it is, an hour and a half is just about the maximum amount of light I can do at home and not be late for work. But, it's going to be close. I might have to do the last 10 minutes or so using my smaller light box I keep at the office just for that purpose (and for taking with me when I have to travel out of town).
