Feb. 23rd, 2004 07:01 amI don't feel good. My sinuses feel back to normal, which is nice. But my little sinus head cold has moved down into my chest. So, now I'm coughing a whole bunch. My mommy called me yesterday to see how I was doing, and she said I'm talking about an octave lower than normal. At least I still have *a* voice, right?
I'm currently in the middle of a fierce debate with myself. I AM going to get Schizophrenic tomorrow (the new album by JC, not the mental illness), it's only a question of when. I don't think I'll be able to find a store that's open before I go to work. I can't stay up until midnight, and pretty much all the music stores open at 10am, not 7am. I suppose I'll have to get it on my way home from work. Which I guess works out for the best, because if I had it before I went to work, tomorrow would not be my most productive & efficient day methinks. Maybe I'll have to go do an errand at lunch! ::evil grin:: Yeah, an errand!
The other bad part about being sick? Not only do you feel like crap, but all the normal chores of life don't put themselves on hold. Which means I have to do laundry (soon, before I run out of clothes to wear to work), unload the clean dishes in the dishwasher, fill the dishes with the scrubbed-but-dirty dishes that're laying all over the kitchen counter, and break out the ironing board to iron the last 2-3 weeks of work shirts (I hate ironing, so I wait until I quite literally have nothing left to wear). I'm tired just thinking about having to do all this.

Date: 2004-02-23 02:37 pm (UTC)That's what I thought! I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to make sure to bring my cd player & adapter in the car tomorrow, so I can listen to it on the way back to the office!
