Lazy weekend's are the best :)
Jan. 29th, 2006 10:34 pmHad fun with my new computer.
Went to a local 'green' home & garden show. Was highly amused at how so many of the vendors didn't seem to have any obvious reason to be at a 'green' home show. I was really hoping for more stuff that was pertinent & relevant towards building/maintaining/etc a green home. But a mortgage company? Come on!
There was a few nice things there like some bamboo flooring, a couple of different paint vendors had varieties of low/no odor paint, there were some air purifiers, a couple of composting/recycling booths, the local Audubon society, and other booths.
I had a bit of a blood sugar (hypoglycemic) crash so we left after only going through about half of it so I could go home and get something to eat.
We went for a walk tonight for the first time in weeks!! It was really nice to get outside.
Poor HTB had to listen to me whine for most of the day today. I'm suffering from a very bad case of the wantsits. My current whinings are about my unfortunate lack of Sims2 and an RPG game I want to get for my new fast computer, it's called The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It's been out for a while but it looks simply fantastic, and I can hardly wait until I can go buy it! :)
And now it's way past time for bed. I better disconnect from the computer before I do a faceplant into my keyboard.
