I've made a new rule for myself.

It's a good rule. One I really kinda guessed at, but I figured out the hard way this morning that I needed to make it an absolutely firm rule that could not be ignored.
I got up out of bed on time. And for a Monday morning where I was up until midnight (yes, playing sims) I was really quite proud of myself. Then I figured I'd turn on the Sims, just for a little bit. Just to poke my nose into some of the other houses in the neighborhood I'm moving the Fatone-Bass & Chastricklake families into. I've built a house for the Chastricklake's, and I thought I'd just see real quick if I wanted to modify an existing house in the neighborhood or build one for the Fatone-Bass family.
I should've known better. I got to work on time, barely. But, with this being busy season, I was trying to get here at 7:30.
I managed to brush my teeth, throw together a sandwich & a can of soup for lunch, tame the mop on my head to something less medusa-like, and *run* out the door.
No shower, no makeup, and the muffin & soda I grabbed for 'breakfast' is going to wear off rather soon.
But, on the plus side, Joey, Kelly, & Lance have a wonderful little (or not-so-little) house. There's even a cute little room connected to both the hall and to the largest bedroom that I put adorable hot-air balloon wallpaper in. When Brihana finally comes, I know she'll love it. The house has that small room for the soon-to-be Brihana, and then 3 large bedrooms that each have a double bed in them. So, I can start with Joey & Kelly so I can get Brihana, then if Joey & Lance don't get along especially well I have enough room for 3 couples in the house.
I wanna go play with my Sims! I don't wanna work.
