I just found out from my new friend [livejournal.com profile] wendyinphilly that what I assume to be Jordan's record company has clips up of the stuff he's done for the New Kids Remix album featuring Jordan Knight.

So far, I've listened to Step By Step. I've heard the original so many times, it's been ingrained in my memory for so many years, that when I heard the different version, my first reaction was to cringe and say "what & who the hell is that!"

I'm gonna listen to all the clips. And there's no question that I'm gonna buy the album. Those are my boys. Since I was 11 years old, man. Those are my boys! (though I've been a bad fan, and haven't kept up real well with what Danny's been doing, I know he's producing & I think he did an album of his own... but honestly he was my least favorite 'kid').

In case anyone else is interested, ::listens to crickets chirping:: Yeah, anyway, just in case... here's the link where you can go to listen to the clips...

ETA: OMG! What kind of torture did he do to Baby I Believe In You!?!?! I *loved* that song! ::weeps:: His voice, and the synthesizer! It's just... ::shudders::

YAAAYY!! I *love* what he did to Please Don't Go Girl!! I'm so damn glad that didn't get butchered or tortured, you have NO idea!!

Whoa, dude, Hangin' Tough. I don't know about anyone else, but that sort of hurt. I was like "What the hell did he do to it!?!"

I was just amused by the fact that, listening to the clips, I kept saying to myself "Hey, that's Joey's part!" LOL.

I was still so stupefieid by what he did to Baby I Believe In You that I didn't notice quite as much what he did to Hangin' Tough. To me, that wasn't nearly as much of a shock to my system.

Well, The Right Stuff didn't seem to change too dramatically.....which was the main thing I was worried about. Because, man, it's the freakin' Right Stuff! If he had totally screwed with that, I would have been completely and utterly heartbroken.

The songs I was the most worried about changing too dramatically were Please Don't Go Girl ('cause that's my little Joey's song!), and I'll Be Lovin' You Forever. And neither of those turned out too strange, so I'm happy!
