Portland People! Did anybody else read the article in yesterday's Oregonian about Brad Fitzpatrick (the guy that created LJ & runs it out of his house in Hillsboro)?

It was good. I tried (briefly) to look for the article online at oregonian.com without success.

They gave a few interesting statistics about LJ...

835,240 use LJ, with more than 1,000 signing up daily
(7,293 people in OR use LJ)
And surprisingly only about 5% are paid accounts.
My favorite thing was how the feature to post a comment on someone else's entry came about. Brad created the feature because he wanted to be able to make fun of a friend's entries!

In other news, the Peace March/Rally in Portland on Saturday was very, very good. There were so many people there, it was absolutely insane! I'm very glad I went. A group out here on the Coast chartered a (school)bus to take anybody that wanted to go for a mere $5. It was nice not to have to worry about parking, and to not have to worry about driving back over the coast range after dark... that can get nasty!

I taped & watched the 100 moments that rocked tv yesterday. Justin popped in on a number of them. But, my favorite had to have been seeing him sing 'I'm Just A Bill'. ::giggles at the thought of it::

::sigh::

My weekend was so damn busy & crazy, that I feel like I could just sleep all day. I don't quite feel like myself, either. But, it's Monday, so I suppose that's to be expected.
