I finally got my scores from my Tier 1 assessments Monday night. I didn't quite pass.
Of the 11 skills they tested, you have to average at least a 3.25 score, and you can't have a skill that scored below a 3.
I averaged a 2.9, and I got 7 of the 11 skills above 3. So I did pretty good, I think! Of the 30 people on my team who took the assessments on Monday, only 8 people passed.
I now know the areas I really need to work on. The bonus about having two assessments in one week is that when I retake the assessments tonight, my best scores from tonight and Monday night will be taken!
The real benefit of everybody's scores is that it tells our trainers what areas they need to be focusing on over the next few weeks.
Then in about a month we'll all get a chance to take the Tier 1 assessments again1
Book stuff:
I just finished a very interesting book called The Book Thief. It's set in 1939-1944 Germany. It follows the life of a girl who just moved in with a foster family, and tells her story and the stories of her friends/neighbors. It's told in the first person, but the narrator isn't the girl - the narrator is Death! It's a fascinating book, and one I really enjoyed.
I'm bound and determined to actually finish the Lewis & Clark book Undaunted Courage. I'm almost done! :)
