Monday? Again?!

I have to work 5 whole days in a row this week. At least I get next Friday off to attend a Silent Weekend. I suppose I should tell my bosses I'm gonna be gone that day! :p
It took me 3 tries to leave the house this morning. First time I'd just gotten onto the freeway when I remembered I'd forgotten to shut the windows & set the timer on the AC unit. So I took the next exit & turned around. Second time I was just 2 blocks from home when I realized I'd remembered the windows but forgot to set the AC unit timer!
I ended up being about 15 minutes late to work. Oh well.
At least I remembered everything - including shorts & shirt & socks so I can go for a walk at lunchtime! I also brought my Twilight book with me so I can have some fun escapist reading. I'm in a little bit of a down mood so I'm looking forward to being able to read a favorite book during my breaks today.
