Odd. I don't usually answer these, but for some reason I felt like it today.

1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Hmm... let's see... at least 3 different places until I was 7 (but probably more), from ages 8 - 18 we lived in another 6 different places, 1 more when I was in college, and then the place I'm at now.
::counts on fingers::
So, I guess that adds up to 11 different houses/apartments.
The moving to 3 different places from ages 12 - 14 was the hardest. I ended up going to one school for my first year of middle school, another school (in another state) the next year & a half, then the last half of that year & all of the next were spent at a junior high across town. So that adds up to a lovely number of 4 years in middle/junior high school, spent in 3 different schools. Not fun.

2. Which was your favorite and why?
I don't think I can answer this one. We moved so damn much, the physical house we were in became secondary to the people. And I like that, but sometimes I wonder what'd be like to have always lived in the same place, with the same neighbors, & etc. But, I suppose I liked the house we lived in while I was in 6th grade. We were just there one year, but my brother & I both had the HUGEST bedrooms I've ever seen. They were each probably the size of my living & dining room in the apartment I have now.

3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
Nothing but STRESSFUL! I do not deal with change well, and I've moved enough for any excitement there might've been to have rubbed off a long time ago.

4. What's more important, location or price?
Location, definitely. You couldn't pay me enough money to live downtown in a city that might even remotely be classified as 'big'. Nor in an over-crowded suburb. Location is paramount, but of course it has to be something that I can afford.

5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
I really like the courtyard-type entrances a lot of the older European houses have, so that's on the list. So is lots of privacy, a real 'nature' like setting, lots of light, big open rooms, a spa bath, and enough bedrooms so I can have a place to exercise, a place for guests, and a place for my computer/tv/fandom stuff.
