In sad news, the remote for my ipod speaker/clock radio thing at work has died. There's a metal doohickey that allows the battery to make contact with the circuit board in the remote, and that metal bit came un-'glued'. The thing still works, I just don't have my remote which is proving to be pain in the ass. Everytime I want to pause it, change the volume, skip a song, I have to roll over two or three feet so I can reach it and push a button. It's very inconvenient.
I got a good night's sleep last night!!! YAAAAYYY!! I woke up a couple times, but go back to sleep ok, and must've gotten decent-quality sleep because I woke up this morning in a good mood, and relatively alert. :D ::does happy dance of joy::
My ASL classes are going good. It's fun to learn, and it'll be useful for me - the group events(the socialization events for the ASL students) are ones that I can actually participate in and not get overwhelmed & exhausted by trying to understand people who are all talking over each other. :D MrB's not taking classes with me this term, but will retake the last class we took together over the summer.
I need new walking shoes at work - my socks got SOAKED yesterday! Luckily today's supposed to be a dry day so I can go for my lunchtime walk without getting wet socks. New shoes at work means I get to buy new walking shoes for home and then bring the old home shoes into work.
The local Saturday Market started up this past weekend - but I was tired & it was raining so I skipped it. This Saturday is supposed to be nice though, so I think I'm gonna go check it out.
