Eventually, all teenthrobs grow up. And former New Kid On The Block crooner Joe McIntyre is no exception. So brace yourselves, NKOTB fans, because Joe is getting married!
The ``Boston Public'' star and galpal Barrett Williams are tying the knot Aug. 9 at The Plaza in New York City.
``I couldn't be happier,'' Joe told the Track. ``And I've never been more sure of anything in my life.''
Joe met Barrett, who is originally from New York, when he was looking for a house to rent on the Left Coast while filming the Fox series. Barrett, who's in the real estate biz in La-La, found Joey Mac a place - then took him off the market!
The two recently bought a house together in Tinseltown, where Joe's Hangin' Tough now that his acting career's in high gear.
In addition to ``Public',' he's also starting a flick with Jamie-Lynn Sigler of ``The Sopranos'' fame. And on May 27, Joe starts his Boston run of ``tick, tick . . . BOOM!'' at the Wilbur Theatre.
My little Joey? The blue-eyed cutie I fell in love with when I was 11? He's getting married?
I suppose I'm thrilled that he's found someone he loves, who loves him back, and who makes him happy.
But, I think I'm kinda shocked.
And for some odd reason, it makes me feel old.
