May. 13th, 2003 08:22 amI can't believe I forgot to squeee about this yesterday!
I got to listen to my little Joey Mac on the radio yesterday morning. Now, that's a good way to start off a Monday morning, lemme tell ya. :)
Plus, since the radio station has this "do it again" thing, where they replay some interviews for a second time the following morning, I got to listen to him again this morning!
Joe Mac's gonna have a new album out!! I think he said it'd be out by the end of the summer. He must be planning a short honeymoon then. Since he's getting hitched on August 9th, that doesn't leave a whole heck of a lot of room between then & the 'end of the summer' for both honeymoon & new album promo.
Plus, Joey did an interview with Boston's pop station (108.something), and they have the audio from that interview on their website.
In both interviews he talked about his bride-to-be (Barrett). He was just so cute being all flustered & speechless. I'm so thrilled for him that he's found someone to make him happy.
I still think it's weird. In my eyes he's always going to be the young teenager with the beautiful blue eyes who first sang "Please Don't Go Girl" when I was all of 11 years old. I'll always adore him.

Date: 2003-05-13 06:39 pm (UTC)Joey's doing some Broadway show in Boston this summer, something by the same guy who wrote RENT. I'm trying to get some people to go see it, since we live right here.
