drive-by posting...
Jun. 25th, 2007 10:56 amWedding was fabulous!! Weather cooperated (the clouds & rain came almost exactly 24 hours after our wedding).
BothHTB the MrBee's mom and my mom cried. MrBee & I both teared up, and while I thought I was going to cry I didn't.
The dress, and the hairdo, and the everything came together so much better than I could've hoped for... I've never felt more beautiful!
I'm even more excited by the rapidly approaching honeymoon!! I'm just waiting for MrBee to finish packing his suitcase, and then we need to clean out his car and then load it up with all our gear.
I'll share pictures of the wedding & everything when I get back!

Awww. I almost teared up at that, (yes I'm very sentimental), but that's exactly how it should feel so that makes me so very happy for you. *hugs*
Did you ever talk to your respective doctors about the sleep issue? I hope you were able to get some good sleep time in while also enjoying your two weeks away.
I noticed you mentioned Idaho, and it made me wonder where you live? I checked your profile and it didn't say. I was just curious, as I'm in Oregon.
Anyway, congrats again! Yay!

Date: 2007-07-13 02:05 am (UTC)I'm in Oregon as well, an hour and a half south of PDX (you can probably guess the town, I just don't want to spell it out for privacy reasons).
I talked to my Dr about the sleep issue (& the bit I remembered about my Mr waking me up a couple times to tell me I wasn't breathing). My Dr looked at the back of my throat and said I had the structure/anatomy that put me at higher risk for sleep apnea. He gave me the number of a local hospital's Sleep Solutions Center to call and arrange a sleep study to be done.
Once I get all my health insurance & stuff changed over to my new name I'm going to call them & set it up.

Date: 2007-07-13 07:48 am (UTC)Oh gosh I didn't know he'd woken you about not breathing, that pretty much spells it out right there. I have that same issue, they told me I could try laser surgery to rid myself of the extra tissue in my throat but GAH I just couldn't imagine it, so I use a CPAP machine. I might decide to try it someday but I'm kind of a chicken.
I'm glad you looked into it though, I'll be curious to know what they tell you after the sleep study.

Date: 2007-07-13 07:52 pm (UTC)And on our honeymoon, he woke me up once to tell me I was choking.
I'm also quite curious to see what the sleep study says. I made an evaluation appointment (as I've gotten my name changed with the insurance company). After that evaluation appointment (I guess once they know what they're looking for) I'll get scheduled for the actual sleep study.
