And another Monday rolls around

rosebeeIt was a good weekend. Saturday was busy, and Sunday was very very lazy.
I successfully tackled another project with my sewing machine! I bought an 18" square piece of high density foam, sewed a cover for it... and managed to put a zipper in the cover! Next time I need to figure out how to make the corners fit the square 3-dimensional corners of the foam (I just made the corners all taper to a point like couch cushions).
I got lots of laundry done, and even remembered to wash the shower curtain (something I've been meaning to do for way too long).
Lance's book... I'm about 2/3rds of the way through it, and my goodness am I having trouble wading through it. It's very much like "I did this, and then I did that, and then this happened, and I felt this way about it."
So far, there's not much that fandom didn't already know or guess.
Consumer Reports & digital cameras...
We got the November issue and were really pleased to see the cameras that we each bought at the top of the overall ratings list (my Canon A710IS is at #2, and MrBee's Canon S3IS is at #4). It's always nice getting confirmation that we bought good quality highly recommended things. :)
