I have my sewing class in an hour and 15 minutes (luckily it's VERY close by). And I'm going to be making this knit dress.

I'm really excited, and I hope it comes out ok!

When I was cutting out the pattern, the wonderful instructions only metioned the fast/advanced method for marking the notches that help the pieces line up to one another (it just said to snip the fabric a bit at the notches). Later I learn it's recommended that begining sewers instead cut outward around the notch in the shape of a triangle or rectangle. Oh well. Something to remember for next time. At least I have a teacher to help me figure out how to put the pattern pieces together.
The other hard part about this is because I'm using a cotton interlock knit, both sides of the fabric look the same! So I'm going to need the teacher to help me figure out which way the pattern pieces go (inside vs outside fabric side).

I should go shower and get ready. Pictures to come when it's all done!
