rosebeeHad a very nice & lazy Saturday morning & afternoon. There were video games (Sims2 & Elder Scrolls - Morrowind)& a *little* patio gardening involved. Then we did a little shopping (for an external card reader for HTB's digital camera)& out to dinner at a local Mongolian Grill restaurant. Lots of fun!
Sunday I played video games (the original Kingdom Hearts) while I waited for HTB to wake up. After lunch & grocery shopping HTB had the marvelous idea that since it was such a nice sunny day (~55 degrees) that we should get our asses outside & do something. So since we had some extra cookies to take over to my folks house we figured that was a good excuse for a bike ride.
The bike ride was LOTS of fun! Neither one of us has been riding in several months. I could barely keep up with him and kept having to remind him to let me lead so he didn't leave me in the dust to arrive home hours after him. I'm SOOO sore today! My legs are a bit stiff, but my behind is NOT used to sitting on a bike saddle. I keep wondering if I'm sore because I just haven't done it in a while, or if I don't quite have my saddle adjusted right or if it's not quite the right kind/size/style of saddle. I suppose I'll give it time and if it goes away I'll know I just needed to build up some calluses again.
In work-related news I'm just over the moon excited for the little reason that I got a new chair! It's a petite-sized chair (well, the seat part anyway, the back part is regular sized I think)! And it's the first time ever I've had a work chair where I didn't have to always sit on the front part of the chair or where the back of my knees weren't always touching the seat. Too much fun!!
Also went to go see V for Vendetta last night. Lots of thoughts about it still running around my head. Will post on them later today when they coalesce into something comprehensible.
