rosebeeMore details later, but the short story is that my dad was admitted to the hospital late last night (or early this morning, depending on how you look at it). He's in surgery for appendicitis as I type.
Unlike my own appendectomy where I had a 1.5 - 2" incision, my dad will have his surgery done laproscopically and will only have a little hole.
Hopefully that'll make his recovery time a lot faster. I remember that not being a lot of fun!
Back to finishing up important stuff at work & then I'm off to the hospital.
