another unanticipated joy

When one person doesn't sleep well, the other usually doesn't either.
The variety of noises coming from the other side of the bed last night were amusing.
Frustrating because I was dog-assed tired & attempting to sleep, but amusing nonetheless.
I *really* want it to be Friday. Mainly because I want to be able to sleep in tomorrow.
Even though what I call 'sleeping in' is laughable by many people's standards. My body is on such a schedule that the most sleeping in I can manage is until 7:30 or (I normally get up at 6am). After a day or two I can sleep in til 8:30 or sometimes even 9!
Of course HTB who can stay up until 4am+ without even blinking is *much* better than I am at sleeping in.
Other news:
Last night HTB & I got his application completed for our local community college. He's going to start there this summer after his current temporary contract position runs out at the end of May.
We're still waiting to get an award letter to know exactly how much aid he'll get & how much loans we'll need, but the ball's finally rolling.
I'm really proud of him for doing this. Going back to school is not an easy thing.
