I forgot that Joey was on Craig Kilborn last night... he announced his engagement, and I missed it!
::kicks swiss cheese memory::
At least I've got you to keep me informed. And provide me with MP3's of his little announcement.
And in other news relating to my swiss cheese memory, I *completely* forgot that my dad's birthday was Saturday. My mom called me Saturday evening, checking to see if I'd gotten the new Harry Potter book yet (I had by the way), and then saying that after a hunting expedition, she eventually found a copy at Costco. Then she not so subtly said that grandma was taking her & dad out to dinner for his birthday.
Would you believe I was so in the middle of Harry Potter that I said nothing more than "oh, that sounds nice". Of course, once my brain engaged a second after those words left my mouth, I told her to apologize to dad for me for forgetting to tell him Happy Birthday. I did call the next day to wish him a slightly-belated Happy Birthday.
I think I'm going to hold to the theory that the reason I totally forgot was that the present I'm still in the middle of making for him for his birthday is one that I'm going to give in person when he & mom come up for a visit on the 4th of July holiday weekend. Ah well.
