Jun. 28th, 2005 06:57 amSo we all got to see Joey & Kelly's wedding when it showed on VH1 (well all who knew it was on, and that does *not* include me).
::hopes for reruns::
I am always amazed when the weekend's over and I haven't managed to find time to sit down and check LJ. And I can't even use the excuse that it's a weekend for hubby-to-be to visit because it happens both when he's here and when he's not! (He was here this weekend, in case you're following along at home).
We went for a bike ride, which was all kinds of fun. Though at the end of our slightly-over-an-hour ride, I was reminded why I've been wanting to purchase a pair of nicely padded seamless-leg bike shorts. Chafing & rubbing = no fun!
On Sunday, we went for a hike up a local hill/butte (1.5 miles one-way). Twas fun, but I was absolutely exhausted and had the worst time dragging myself up the mountain. Then I woke up yesterday morning to discover that I had snored quite spectacularly that evening, and that I remained stuffy & congested upon awakening. Today seems to be a little better in the regard (though I did remember to turn on the humidifier last night), but I'm still overly tired & a bit stuffy. Nothing worse than a summertime cold!
I'm again desperately wishing that I could install a LJ client on my work computer. Or that I could type & post a message longer than 155 characters from my cell phone.
I finally saw Star Wars: Episode III Return of the Sith this weekend!! I really enjoyed it! Afterwards I had an overwhelming urge to rewatch Episodes IV, V & VI. :) So HTB & I rented Episode IV Sunday night and watched it. It was a lot of fun to watch III & IV the same day. We had fun pointing out all of the inconsistencies that there now were based on what happened in III. I do wish the ending of III was a bit different. I really would've liked for there to have been more focus on Darth/Palpatine finding out about & hunting down the twins. I was a little disappointed that the whole reason for splitting them was "because Yoda said so".
