Jul. 22nd, 2005 10:38 amI know that tons of women regularly go under anesthesia & get themselves cut open and sewn back together to get this, but I want to complain anyway.

It's just not fair!!!!
I've always been a big-busted woman (even as a teenager). I think I saw an A cup for a couple of months, a B cup for a week, and then was a C cup for a year or two before hitting a D cup at 15 or 16.
Up until last week I've been wearing a 34D. Every time I'd go look for bras I'd have to look really hard but I'd usually find several without too much problem. I recently discovered that I'd been wearing too small of a size, and I am in fact a 34DD. ::hugesigh::
I thought that my old size was hard to find!! I went to an outlet store and after several minutes of futile searching had to tell the lady what size I was trying to find. She led me around the store and presented me with all 5 options that came in my size. One style was uncomfy, but I came home with 5 bras in 4 different styles. I've now discovered that 2 of my new bras, while they fit perfectly (no bulges where they're not supposed to be & everything fits in where its supposed to) are not comfy at all after a few hours.
I've just found out that a local department store is having a nice big sale tomorrow (and the store's known for their good selection of bras, too). So I'm going to go brave the shopping crowds and try and find 3 more bras in my size.
I just desperately, pleadingly wish that I'll be able to find *something* in a color other than black, white or beige. The 5 bras I bought at an outlet store last week? 3 white, 1 black & 1 beige. I find 1 or 2 white bras are ok, but I really prefer beige (they can be worn under anything without showing through). I like having 7 good, comfy bras so I don't have to do laundry more than 1 a week and I don't have to wear the uncomfy ones unless it's a dire emergency.
::prays to the shopping gods I'll be able to find the size I need in something other than white or black::

I wonder if I'll ever have the money/nerves to get a breast reduction. Of course HTB would *not* be pleased. At all! ;)
