rosebeeSo I called this local auto mechanic shop that specializes in Subarus.
I told them I needed to bring my car in for its 45,000 mile service.
The response from the guy that answered the phone...
Um, that's a weird number. He said that services only happened at 30/60/90.
He was *so* confused. He then proceeded to tell me that he thought the 45k service was just an oil change, but he'd look it up in my service manual to find out.
Um. Yeah. I'll be taking my car there right quick.
Then I called the mechanics that my folks go to (& like). I told the person that answered the phone the same thing I told the other place. This time the response was "Ok, when do you want to come in?".
Now *that* is more like it!
I've scheduled to take my car in Friday morning (at the ungodly hour of 7:30am). And they have a shuttle service so I'll be able to get to work.
