rosebeeWhen I was setting up the email for my mom's friend, I discovered that microsoft no longer allows hotmail account access through outlook express! It said that it doesn't allow new setups, but existing setups (like what I use almost exclusively to read my hotmail email) will eventually be phased out. :(
I like getting my hotmail through outlook express. So, I took advantage of the gmail invite I got and set myself up a gmail account. I also then configured outlook express to access this account for me. So, I haven't configured it yet, but eventually I'm going to put up message rules to send junk stuff to one folder and real stuff (like from specific individuals) to a new gmail folder I'm going to create.
Had a busy day on Saturday, went to the local Asian Celebration (don't know if it's a state wide thing or not, but it was really quite large). Yesterday had a nice lazy day. I lazed around for a bit (playing sims), doing dishes, playing sims, putting away laundry, playing sims... I think you get the idea.
Today I get to go grocery shopping, and then help my mom get a new pair of jeans. She's so picky & critical & whiny that I'm really dreading it. She wants a pair of jeans that don't have tapered legs, but she also insists that she has to have elastic in the waist. And I just *know* I'm in for an afternoon of listening to hear complain how no one ever makes the right kind of jeans, and how much she hates shopping for clothes, and why in the world won't someone make what she wants. Sigh. Maybe we'll get lucky and find what she's looking for early on?
