Sims update

rosebeeNot much really going on with my sims.
I created a family of Nick & Jessica Simpson. Except I couldn't really find any good skins for them (that I didn't have to pay for) so they don't exactly look like they 'should'. They had a son of their own. His name's Jeffrey. Then not too much later they got a phone call asking if they wanted to adopt another child. I was in a click-happy mood so I said yes, and presto! they had a baby girl. She's named Alyssa. They both have jobs, because playing with the cheat codes for free money was getting boring. Jessica's in the Musican track (she's currently a High School Band Teacher), and Nick's in the Business track (I believe he just got a promotion to Executive). I don't know if I want him to say in that track or not.
I've also decided that it's time for JC & Justin to downsize and get jobs. They've been working for quite some time now on building their skills, and they're both between 8 and 10 for all skills. JC just accepted a job this morning as a Beta Tester, in the Hacker career track. (I figured with all we hear about him & computers it was entirely appropriate). I've been having Justin look for jobs too, but I want him to become a Musician and that career track hasn't come open yet. :)
JC & Justin are going to have their house bull-dozed and will be moving themselves and their 4 children into a much smaller house that's more appropriate for their lifestyle change (since they're now having to work their way up the career ladders now that their 'trust fund' is disappearing).
I'm figuring these modifications should keep things interesting for me for a while. I still need to build a nice cheap house for the 'Lackey' family, Trace & Jessie. :p There is a Slacker career track which should be just perfect for Trace. I think I want Jessie to go into the Entertainment career track (for his modeling & such).
It's a partly-cloudy, mostly-sunny Friday afternoon, and it's summer time.
I'm stuck at the office rushing to get a bunch of stuff done. (well, technically I'm taking my afternoon break).
I want to be playing Sims. Is it 5 o'clock yet?
