I had a pretty decent day yesterday.
I think I'm trying to do too much though.
Today I woke up feeling really blah. I'm beginning to miss my husband - we're both WAY too busy, with very different schedules. Next weekend I think I'm going to try to make sure we get some 'us time'. Maybe go visit a nursery or something. We need to get out of the house (& its distractions) and just spend time with each other.
I also need to learn to say 'no' to all of the various derby things. There's so much going on in the league that it would be REALLY easy to say 'yes' to all the volunteer things they throw at us. I thought 4 or 5 nights a week of derby & for-fun-skating would be my max, but I'm starting to realize that number is instead closer to 3 (*maybe* 4 if I'm feeling really energetic that week).
Next Saturday, I'm skipping derby practice. I'm going to try my hardest to relax & have fun & hopefully spend time with the hubby.
I'm still feeling kind of down & blah, but having some sort of a plan in mind helps.
